SIFF Spotlights Global Indigenous Voices: CINEDIGENOUS Program Returns May 9th-19th
Feature Film: "Bring Them Home"

SIFF is gearing up for its landmark year, and Indigenous cinema will be part of its 50th anniversary showcase. The festival is bringing back the 4th World Media Lab and the cINeDIGENOUS program, showcasing Indigenous stories and filmmakers from May 9th to 19th.

For a decade, the 4th World Media Lab has been home to Indigenous creators – offering a blend of film education and exploration into the industry. Fellows receive hands-on training, producer coaching, and pitching opportunities. The Lab also extends beyond Seattle, with residencies with Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and Camden International Film Festival.

“SIFF has been a champion for Indigenous filmmakers worldwide,” says Tracy Rector, SIFF Programer for Global Indigenous films. “For two decades, they’ve stood in solidarity, showcasing films and perspectives, and providing resources that empower creators and their communities.”

The cINeDIGENOUS program boasts a lineup of 11 feature films this year, along with a short film program – representing voices and experiences from Indigenous artists across the globe.
