Seattle Mariners Swing into the 2024 Season with New Eats at T-Mobile Park
Hey Seattle Mariners fans, T-Mobile Park is swinging for the fences this season with a lineup of new food and beverage items that are sure to be a hit with baseball fans and foodies alike. We were recently treated to dozens of offerings at a press event held in the Mariners Press Club Suites (quite a swanky place to take in a ballgame if you get the chance), and it was great to see some new standout restaurants along with some of our old favorites.
Here’s a run down on what you can expect as the Mariners take the field in 2024.
Local Flavor Takes the Field
Tamari Bar: Dive into Japanese cuisine at Section 133 with Tamari Bar’s debut at T-Mobile Park. Our favorite of the event, the katsu curry rice featured savory fried pork cutlet, area 206 curry sauce, vegetable katsu sauce and sesame seeds provided a taste of Japan right at the ballpark.
The Double MitchWich: This specialty sandwich at the Walk-Off Market (Sections 105, 126 & 141) is a homerun for both taste and charity. Inspired by Mariners’ favorite Mitches – Garver and Haniger – it features two distinct halves, each reflecting their hometown flavors. A portion of the proceeds goes to Seattle Children’s Hospital, making this a win-win for your taste buds and the community.
MOTO Pizza: Seattle’s wildly popular MOTO Pizza is back with its “Odd Pizza” creations. This year, fans are sure to be queueing up for their Crab Pizza with fresh Dungeness crab and a “liquid sunshine” lemon herb finish. Find it at Section 312.
Ballard Pizza: Chef Ethan Stowell’s Ballard Pizza expands its presence at T-Mobile Park, adding a new location in Section 132 alongside their existing spots in the T-Mobile Pen and Terrace Club. Try the new King Pizza with mini rigatoni or the decadent (and generous), How to Wolf a Cookie featuring Valrhona chocolate and pistachios.
New Takes on Classic Eats
Ultimate Seattle Dog: Hempler’s Sausage takes the classic ballpark hot dog to a new level with their Ultimate Seattle Dog. This footlong masterpiece comes loaded with cream cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, and jalapenos. A Seattle classic.
Holy Smoke BBQ: Get your BBQ fix with Chef Javier’s house-smoked pork belly sliders and ribs, available at the Walk-Off Market (Section 105) and Holy Smoke BBQ (Section 313).
Sweet Treats and Refreshing Brews
Salt & Straw: Seattle’s buzzy ice creamery joins the party with two exclusive flavors – T-Mobile Park Wild-Forged Berry Slab Pie and vegan Strawberry Coconut Water Sherbet. Grab a scoop or two in between innings and enjoy America’s favorite summer pastime.
Frosé Slushies: Marination in the T-Mobile Pen introduces Frosé Slushies, a first for the ballpark. This frozen rosé beverage is sure to be a hit on sunny afternoons. Also new to the Marination lineup are the Tater Tots and Tofu Tots (crispy fried tofu, adobo seasoning, cilantro, scallions, and jalapeno ranch dip).
Value Menu & Value Beers: The popular Value Menu returns returns throughout the ballpark with new additions like churros, cookies, and jumbo pickles, offering affordable (and tasty) options for every fan. Enjoy value beers from local and national brands (priced at $4.50 and $5.50, and $6.50) alongside new Browne Family Vineyards wines.
Plus, even more to explore
The Coca-Cola Fan Deck offers a new Spiced Coca-Cola beverage (a hit when we were at press events last week at SXSW), while Corona Beach Bar keeps the summer vibes going with refreshing Micheladas and Agua Frescas.
Opening Day for the Seattle Mariners is just a week away (Thursday, March 28), so grab your ticket, bring your appetite, and get ready for an experience on, and off, the field that’s sure to make you cheer.
