Tim Hortons K-cup coffee pods are now available in Seattle.

Good news for hockey fans. Today is the first puck drop that officially kicks off the Seattle Kraken inaugural season.

And, good news for coffee lovers. Tim Hortons coffee is now available in Seattle in convenient K-cups.

Tim Hortons history with hockey has been brewing for nearly 60 years, ever since this NHL great co-founded his eponymous coffee shop in Canada back in 1964.

With a career that spanned 24 seasons, Tim Horton played for a range of NHL teams. But, if you don’t follow hockey, you likely know his name through his iconic coffee throughout North America.

Yes, we know – Seattle is already home to one iconic coffee brand. But serving two billion cups of coffee a year, Tim Hortons serves more coffee than any restaurant chain except Starbucks.

Tim Hortons may not have a presence on every other corner in this city, like you know who. But, you can still get the taste of Tim Hortons premium blend in Seattle at a nearby Albertsons or Safeway.

If you’re a hockey parent getting your son or daughter to an early morning practice, or need a little caffeine before the Kraken hit the ice, then Tim Hortons Original Blend or Dark Roast K-cups may be in order. Or, if you are looking to get a true taste of Canada with your coffee, then grab a donut and their new Maple flavor brew.

All the better next week, when the Kraken take on what is sure to be our friendly rivals to the north, the Vancouver Canucks.

But, you don’t need to be a hockey parent, or even a hockey fan, to enjoy one of Canada’s favorite coffee in a convenient K-cup. Tim Hortons crosses the border with its bold, rich taste and aromatic blend and is ideal for all coffee fanatics alike.
