Taylor Mac is bringing a little extra sauce this holiday to the Moore Theatre.

We all have those holiday songs that become earworms this time of year. Some we love, others we hate. On December 19 & 20, STG presents Taylor Mac – Holiday Sauce that should send those earworms scattering – at least for the night.

One of today’s leading theater artists, Mac is back in town to bring their wickedly twisted take on the holidays. You can always expect the unexpected at a Taylor Mac production. Last year, a heckler tried to shut down Mac’s performance at the Moore.

This show, backed by a live band, will likely be heckler-free but you can expect the same dazzling costume changes and over-the-top stage design. And then there’s the music. There will be plenty of holiday classic mash-ups and reinterpretations. But you can also expect some very non-holiday songs – and dance – that will get you up out of your seat.

If you’ve experienced a Taylor Mac performance in the past you have a pretty good idea of what you’re in for. If you haven’t, buckle up – you’re in for one hell of a fun ride.
