SXSW is right around the corner and the movie trailers for the fest are starting to drop. And judging by some of the teasers, the film game is strong this year.

We’re headed down to Austin in a couple of days to catch as many films possible. That said, SXSW is screening just shy of 100 features and 111 short films over a 10-day span. So, it’s quite likely we’ll miss a couple.

In between, we’ll be hitting up some of the art exhibits, comedy shows, music and, of course, the BBQ.

Here are just a few trailers for movies and unscripted series that will be unspooling over the next week at SXSW.

TONY HAWK: UNTIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF

A wide-ranging, definitive look at Hawk’s life and iconic career, and his relationship with the sport with which he’s been synonymous for decades. Hawk, born in San Diego, Calif., is a pioneer of modern vertical skating and one of the most influential skateboarders of all time.  

IT’S QUIETER IN THE TWILIGHT

In an unremarkable office space, a select group of aging engineers sacrificed promotion, postponed retirement, and dedicated their lives to stay with the longest running and farthest reaching mission in NASA’s history. Fighting outdated technology and time, Voyager’s flight-team pursues humankind’s greatest exploration.

LIZZO’S WATCH OUT FOR THE BIG GRRRLS 

A new unscripted series following global superstar and icon Lizzo, who is on the hunt for dynamic, full-figured women to join the elite ranks of the Big Grrrls and join her world tour. With ten hopeful women moving into the Big Grrrls house, they must prove they have what it takes to make it to the end and join Lizzo in front of a global audience on center stage. 

ANONYMOUS CLUB

Featuring Courtney Barnett’s unguarded narration from her audio diary, recorded on a dictaphone provided by Cohen, the film delivers frank and unprecedented insight into Barnett’s creative process, the sacrifices and inner conflicts set in motion by fame, and the sometimes dark backdrop to her whimsical, relatably poetic compositions.

Cecilia and Emma were tween-age BFFs who were going to grow old together and never let anything come between them, until Alex arrived on the scene. Twelve years later, Cecilia is a successful social media influencer living the dream of an independent, modern millennial woman… until she runs into Emma for the first time in over a decade. Emma invites Cecilia away on her bachelorette weekend at a remote cabin in the mountains, where Alex proceeds to make Cecilia’s weekend a living hell. #triggered
