Sundance Film Festival Adds Two World Premieres to 2021 Lineup
The Sundance Film Festival recently unveiled its 2021 lineup with 70-plus features and 50 short films. But wait, there’s more.
Sundance just added to the festival offerings with two more world premiere films. New to the lineup are “Judas and the Black Messiah,” and “Captains of Zaatari.”
“Captians of Zaatari” will screen in the World Documentary Completion, while “Judas and the Black Messiah” is slated for the Premieres section.
In additions to screening online during the Sundance Film Festival, “Judas and the Black Messiah” will also be part of Sundance’s satellite screening outreach program.
With the current pandemic landscape, Sundance has made changes this year that take into account COVID-19 safety guidelines. Providing a safe way for flim lovers to socially connect across the U.S., Sundance has aligned with community partners for screenings, artist talks and socially distanced artist meet-ups.
See below for information provided by the Sundance Institute on the latest festival offerings.
