Sip, Snack and Soak Up the Sun at Seattle’s Sip & Sea Wine Fest

Wine, water and a late-summer Seattle afternoon are a pretty good combination. On Saturday, August 22, Palisade brings its annual Sip & Sea Wine Fest back to Elliott Bay Marina, with 26 Washington wineries pouring from 2 to 5 p.m.

The waterfront event is a chance to taste your way through a lineup of Washington wines while hanging out along the marina. Winemakers, sommeliers and other wine pros will be there too, giving guests a chance to hear a little more about what they’re drinking.

There’s more happening than just tasting wine. Live music will keep the afternoon moving, and the Palisade culinary team will be serving bites that pair nicely with what’s in your glass.

VIP tickets add a few extras, including access to a private indoor tasting area, pours from two additional wineries, Echolands and Klipsun, and elevated food pairings created exclusively for VIP guests. It’s also a nice escape from the sun should Seattle decide to deliver one of those unexpectedly hot August afternoons.

General admission is $65 and includes tastings from 24 wineries, savory bites, and live entertainment. VIP admission is $95.

The event is open to guests 21 and older and takes place rain or shine.

So put on something summery, grab a friend and head down to the marina. You’ll have Elliott Bay as your backdrop and a nice selection of Washington wine in your glass.
