SIFF Hires Andrew L. Haines as Executive Director

SIFF announced that Andrew L Haines will be leading the nonprofit organization in the role of Executive Director. 

Haines has a long history in the arts and entertainment industry. Most recently he headed up marketing and communications at Seattle Rep. Prior to the Rep, Haines worked at Key Brand Entertainment. There he served in several capacities including Executive Director of the National Group Sales Division.

Haines takes over as SIFF Executive Director from Amy Fulford who served as the interim. Former SIFF ED, Sarah Wilke, stepped down in March.

Haines will work alongside SIFF’s Artistic Director, Beth Barrett, as the organization heads into the 2020 Seattle International Film Festival. The 25-day festival runs May 14- June 7 and is the largest in the United States. In addition to the film festival, Haines will oversee the organization as they continue its year-round programming. SIFF maintains five screens in Seattle including SIFF Cinema and SIFF Cinema Egyptian.

Haines will begin his role as ED beginning in January, 2020.
