Seattle Kraken Scores With New Food Offerings
When it comes to Kraken hockey and food, a “smashburger” just seems to make perfect sense. Perhaps that’s what Molly de Mers, executive chef for Delaware North at Climate Pledge Arena, had in mind when she created the Molly D’s Royal Double Deluxe burger.
We tasted some of the new food offerings that Kraken fans can enjoy this season at a recent press preview – and that burger was a standout. Regional and sustainably sourced ingredients are being touted this year so the juicy 1/2 lb. burger is topped with Darigold Cheddar (Washington) and Hills bacon (Oregon) , pickles, onions and Chef Molly’s secret sauce.
If you are more of a plant-based person there are plenty of options at hand. The Impossible Market includes an array of plant-based menu items including their Philly Cheesesteak and a Meatball Submarine.
Other news on tap – Kraken fans can now find a brew for a little less coin. A 16oz Miller High Life (and Miller Lite) can be had for $9.99 throughout select locations in the Upper and Main concourse. Rotating 16oz Craft beers are also valued price at $9.99.

Bristol Bay Wild Market (Section 21)
Salmon Chowder Sourdough Bowl: Sweet corn, braised shallots, jalapeno, and lemon-scented thyme.
Impossible Test Kitchen (Section 108) – A brand new location this season, serving innovative plant-based dishes.
Impossible Philly Cheesesteak: Plant-based Impossible Beef smothered with in-house cheese whiz, grilled peppers, and grilled onions.
Impossible Chili Cheese Dog: Plant-based Impossible Sausage Link topped with plant-based chili, Tillamook Cheddar and diced onions.
Impossible Mac & Jack Bratwurst: Plant-based Impossible Bratwurst marinated in Mac & Jack’s Brewing Company’s African Amber and topped with HERO Giardiniera and Emerald City Kraut.

Mercer Street Mac & BBQ (Section 107 & 24)
Brisket Sandwich: In-house smoked brisket topped with pickles and Richard’s Too Good Seattle BBQ sauce. Served on a brioche bun.

Royal Single: A ¼-pound Royal Ranch beef patty topped with Darigold Cheddar, pickles, onion and secret sauce.
