Seattle Christmas Market 2024: A Festive Wonderland Returns
The Seattle Christmas Market is set to enchant visitors once again, running from November 21 to December 24 at Seattle Center. With its popular debut last year, consider this a chance to catch the magic of a European Christmas market right in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.
The Market features over 80 wooden huts featuring a selection of European and local crafts, perfect for finding holiday gifts. The market’s centerpiece, a two-story Christmas Pyramid, houses a Flying Stage where local musicians perform all of your favorite tunes, featuring everything from Motown Christmas songs to German dance music.
Of course there will be plenty of food and drink to keep you warm along the way. If you are a fan of mulled wine, then the Glühwein is not to be missed.
New for 2024 is the first annual Lantern Parade on December 1, offering a special German tradition to Seattle. Other highlights include a 50-foot walk-through Christmas tree, a double-decker Christmas Carousel, and Santa’s Snow Globe for festive photos. Ugly sweater contests, caroling opportunities, Christmas karaoke, and holiday movie trivia nights are also on tap.
Seattle’s well-know muralist Henry will be bringing a touch of color to the Alpen Haus this year. As locals who drive about the city know, Henry’s recognizable style and vibrant characters are splashed across many walls in Seattle. Expanding beyond his familiar urban canvas, Henry will create holiday-inspired pieces live at the venue.
Pre-sale tickets for the Seattle Christmas Market are available throughout October, offering a $4 discount.
