Seahawks Roll Out New Game Day Eats for 50th Season

The Seattle Seahawks are kicking off their milestone 50th season with more than just football. This season’s playbook comes stacked with new food and drink options built to make game day a four-quarter feast. We were treated to a preview tasting and left with some favorites that will be our go-tos on game days.
You’ve heard of home field advantage, but what about home taste advantage. That’s what you’ll find at Lumen Field as the stadium has teamed up with local names and Seahawks legends to keep hungry fans happy. Two brand-new Legion locations are opening on the Club Level, thanks to a partnership with Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman’s Legion Sports Bar. On the menu: a smash burger, a fully loaded Legion Sausage with jalapeno cheddar, fried pickles and Carolina tartar sauce, and Southern Cajun catfish with cornbread and hot honey (one of my favorite tastings of the afternoon).
Big Walt’s Kitchen, the brainchild of Hall of Famer Walter Jones, is keeping its fan-favorite chicken offerings alive, now with an extra twist: Flamin’ Hot Cheetos chicken tenders. King’s Hawaiian BBQ is serving pulled chicken, pork and rib sandwiches and Tierra Madre is bringing flavor with blue tamales, jackfruit nachos and esquites street corn. Sweet tooths are covered too, thanks to Dubai chocolate strawberries from Lune Café and some tasty Mochi donuts from ChungChun.
Level up
Lumen Field is also leveling up the overall fan experience for the Seahawks 50th season. Cocktails can now be enjoyed in your seats. Two new Club Markets mean Club Level guests can grab food and drinks without slowing down their game day pace. You can find the full list of concession offerings with locations here.
Tech upgrades are also hitting the stands, with a massive new Mitsubishi video board above the Toyota Fan Deck and additional LED displays in the south end zone. Just another way to keep fans locked in on stats and highlights without missing a snap.
These new flavors and upgrades arrive just in time for the home opener against the San Francisco 49ers on September 7. And if you want to get a jump on Blue Friday, head down to Pier 28 tonight (Sept. 4) from 4 – 8 pm where the Seahawks will be throwing a big party to kick off their 50th.
