Schilling Hard Cider Keeps It Wild During Earth Month
Schilling Hard Cider Keeps It Wild During Earth Month
We should celebrate our Earth everyday, but at least it gets one official month of recognition.
Schilling Hard Cider is joining the April celebration of the earth by raising funds and awareness for local outdoors-focused nonprofits. For the second time, Schilling Hard Cider is unleashing its Keep It Wild campaign by giving back to eight environmental groups working to protect earth’s wild places.
For every can and draft pour of its Local Legend and Excelsior Imperial Apple hard ciders, Schilling will donate 5% of those sales to the eight nonprofit partners. Last year’s efforts netted $20,000 for Washington and Oregon-based organizations.
In its second year, Schilling Hard Cider has expanded its efforts to reach nonprofits in eight western states with a goal of doubling the amount raised.
For those looking to support a worthy cause simply by unwinding with a beverage, the cidery is having a Happy Hour on April 11. Starting at 6pm at its Cider House in Fremont, sip on on some Schilling ciders while learning more about the Keep It Wild campaign from Colin Schilling and Tom Uniack, executive director of Washington Wild.
If you are into exploring the wild, you may have run across the legendary Sasquatch. If not, no worries. Word is there may be a chance to get your very own Sasquatch (flash) tattoo during the happy hour. Plus, if you are into Bigfoot (and who isn’t), Schilling Hard Cider has an impressive giveaway along with some pretty cool merch. You can check it all out here.
