Rob Roy Gets Haunted: Black Lagoon Is Back
Griselda’s Revenge

Black Lagoon is back at Rob Roy. We hit the pop-up last year and can promise the cocktail wizardry and haunted-house vibes were sick. This fall, the Belltown bar is transforming again with skulls, coffins, and spooky goth-inspired details in every nook and cranny. Whether you’re in it for the dope drinks, the diabolical décor, or just a wild night out, Black Lagoon is the place.

Created by cocktail pros Kelsey Ramage and Erin Hayes, Black Lagoon serves up some pretty tasty cocktails. The bartenders at Rob Roy are some of the best in the city, and the menu is built to impress. Try Griselda’s Revenge, a sharp and complex mix of Fords Gin, Lustau Vermut Blanco, Giffard Liqueur Mangue, tarragon, lemon, Bitter Queens Thai Spice, and soda. Go tropical with the Nocturna Colada, featuring Kraken Black, Kraken Gold, Mr Black Liqueur, passionfruit, coconut, pineapple, and Bitter Queens Coffee Cardamom Bitters. For something earthy and intriguing, sip the Corpse Flower, blending Lalo Tequila Blanco, ube, Giffard Banane, lime, and Lustau Amontillado Sherry.

For those looking for an NA option, check out Death’s Door, with Giffard Pineapple, miso falernum, lime, and soda.  Each drink is mixed to complement the macabre décor and deliver playful spirits in your glass to ward off any otherworldly spirits nearby.

If you’ve visited Black Lagoon in past years, you know. Lines can wind out the door, but inside, darkness reigns. Every flicker of light uncovers a coffin, a skull, or a spectral detail lurking just beyond sight. For the uninitiated, Black Lagoon at Rob Roy promises cocktails that are clever, creepy, and unforgettable.

Black Lagoon starts to goth out this Friday at Rob Roy and runs through October.
