Pike Brewing Releases Reunion IPA For 30-year Celebration

As Pike Brewing celebrates its 30th anniversary, a new limited-release Pike Reunion IPA hits taps and cans throughout Washington.

The IPA is a collaboration between current Pike brewers and others who have called Pike Brewing Company home. It’s a pretty impressive list to say the least and you can find the full list of participating alums here.

The Pike Reunion IPA features Centennial, El Dorado, and Warrior hops from Yakima Valley, and Pilsner malt from Skagit Valley. We’ve yet to try it (soon to be remedied), but have been told it has a floral profile accented with notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and stone fruit.

Make sure to mark your calendars for October 17 for the grand celebration. It was on that date back in 1989 when Charles and Rose Ann Finkel opened the doors to Pike Brewing, ushering in the craft brewing craze to Seattle and beyond.

They’ll be rolling back the price of beer to 1989 prices on that day. So, definitely step up to the bar and cheers the brewmasters both past and present.
