Photos: Welcome to Hawkins as ‘Stranger Things: The Experience’ Lands in Seattle
Get ready for a little bit of paranormal and supernatural activity as ‘Stranger Things: The Experience’ opens an interactive portal into another world.
Here’s your chance to take a trip back to the 80s with Eleven, Dustin, Mike, Luas, Max and Will. What could possibly emerge?
If you are a fan of “Stranger Things” on Netflix, you probably could make a pretty good guess. But, you’ll find out soon enough as you are ushered into Hawkins National Laboratory under the watchful eyes of the scientists standing guard.
This 45-minute experience moves along at a quick pace as you are shuffled into different lab rooms to test for any superhuman powers you may have picked up along the way. Periodic cameos by your favorite characters check in to help guide you through the journey.
The first three rooms build on each other and ratchet up the drama. But it’s the last room you enter that brings you into the center of all of the action, and should leave you in awe.
Wisely, there are no photos allowed in the laboratory, which keeps everyone focused on the demogorgons. In some instances you can almost reach out and touch these monsters as they whiz overhead. But once conquered, the sun shines over the meadow and you are whisked away to the “Mixed-Tape” room where gram-worthy photos are endless (along with food, drinks, and merch) as Vecna lurks in the corner.
