The Kraken took a 2-1 series lead over the Dallas Stars in the second round of the NHL Playoffs. And, they did so handedly coming away with a 7-2 win at home.

But before the Kraken took to the ice, there was plenty of fanfare happening outside of the arena as the fans were gearing up for a big night of hockey.

The energy was high on this sunny afternoon as the Kraken continues its historic run. And, judging from the buzz from the hundreds of fans who came out early, there’s no doubt Seattle has become a hockey town.
