Paul McCartney Rolls Into Climate Pledge Arena with ‘Got Back’ Tour

At an early morning presser, Climate Pledge Arena confirmed the rumors that Paul McCartney is headed back to Seattle.

We all know that McCartney was in Seattle back in 1964 when he played the Seattle Center Coliseum. He was touring with some nascent band at the time called…The Beatles. Perhaps you’ve heard of them.

Fast forward to the 21st century and it’s been seven years since Macca has graced a Seattle stage. He played Key Arena in 2016, but did an end around the Emerald City during his last tour in 2019.

That was the last time McCartney was on the road before the pandemic put a halt to all live music.

Now, McCartney is back. And this time Seattle is square in his sights as he gears up for his 13-city tour, Got Back.

Paul McCartney will roll into Climate Pledge Arena for a two night stand, May 2-3. But before hitting the stage in Seattle, McCartney officially kicks off his tour a week earlier in Spokane, WA.

So, hardcore McCartney fans in this state will have plenty of opportunities to hear his seemingly infinite catalogue that spans more than five decades. Look for a few new songs from his latest, “McCartney III,” sprinkled in throughout the performance.

Tickets for all ‘Got Back’ tour dates go on sale to the public beginning Friday, February 25 at 10:00 am PT. American Express presales hit a couple of days in advance beginning February 22.
