If you’re headed to Austin for the SXSW Film & TV Festival, Paramount+ will be making its presence known as they take over Rainey St.’s The Clive Bar.

Every year, the few blocks that make up Rainey St. becomes a hub for fest goers looking to grab some sunshine and fresh air among fellow SXSW-ers. Not to mention a little hydration – in whatever form that takes.   

Settling into The Clive Bar from March 10-13, “The Lodge: a Paramount+ Experience” brings three-stories of SXSW fun (and libations) based off Paramount+ originals and other comfy TV fare offered by the streamer.

Mountain of Entertainment

Also known as the Mountain of Entertainment, The Lodge has plenty of stations to kick back with a cocktail while you mingle and swap recommendations with other SXSW attendees, including a built out “1923” Speakeasy Bar. No word on whether or not you’ll meet the next generations of Duttons there.

If you’re a trekkie, make your way to the spacey speakeasy “Star Trek 10 Forward Bar” for a little galaxy-class mind meld. And since it’s March, head on over to the Cave sports bar where its likely you can catch the semifinals of the NCAA Big Ten Conference Tournament, courtesy of Paramount+ Sports.

There will be other activities throughout, including the oh-so important photo-ops (pics or it didn’t happen). Get your snaps with various themed Paramount+ characters including Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, Beavis and Butt-Head on other gram-worthy characters.

Swing by The Clive Bar (609 Davis St., Austin, TX) and catch the ultimate “mountain lodge” before it leaves SXSW and heads off to Steamboat.
