In response to the recent wave of Omicron variant Covid-19, On the Boards Postpones Driscoll Performance

Of the five theater shows we were excited to see in January, one will unfortunately have to wait.

Faye Driscoll’s Thank You For Coming: Space, scheduled next weekend at On the Boards, has been postponed.

Driscoll’s performance is known to create “an intimate communal space for the artist and audience.” With that in mind, in response to the recent wave of Omicron variant Covid-19, OTB has decided to postpone the performance.

From On the Boards:

“We have been planning to present this piece since January 2020, so this difficult decision to postpone was not made lightly and only after careful consideration and a shared desire for the safety and care for our audiences on the part of both our team and the artist. When we programmed this work, we thought the conditions would be right for us to present this work safely. But unfortunately, it has become obvious that this will not be possible by January 20.”
