Nashville recording artist and neo-traditional country singer-songwriter Whey Jennings just released the music video for his latest song, “Girl on a Fast Horse.” This marks Jennings’ first-ever duet, featuring Charity Bowden of Sweet Tea Trio fame. The song, described as an instant classic modern-day cowboy meets cowgirl country love ballad, is currently available on all digital platforms courtesy of Dirt Rock Empire.

Jennings, born into one of country music’s most iconic families, first made his mark on the music scene in 2012. The new video was shot on location at a private Tennessee ranch, featuring the track co-written by Jennings along with David Wade, Shane Grove, and Taylor Hughes. The song also serves as a nostalgic nod to his pre-music career as Jennings spent time working on a farm and ranch in West Texas.

Jennings will also be using his music to help create resilient recovery communities as part of the Mobilize Recovery Across America 2024 tour. The fifteen-city nationwide bus tour, launching on September 20 in Los Angeles, brings together advocates and allies in support of actionable solutions for recovery communities. Jennings’ songs and his own recovery story will also be part of Mobilize Recovery’s PSA campaign in partnership with Meta and iHeartMedia.
