Mixy Music Monday: Foreign Fields Release New Single Ahead of Album Launch

Foreign Fields, the ambient indie-rock duo from Wisconsin, have just teased out their latest single and video “A Little Longer.” This release marks the fourth glimpse into the tracks that will make up their upcoming album “What It Costs,” set to drop on September 13th.

Recorded at Hive in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, with renowned engineer Brian Joseph (known for his work with Bon Iver and Sufjan Stevens), “A Little Longer” captures Foreign Fields’ ever evolving musical journey, characterized by a vibrant, breezy sound that captures a collaborative vibe.

Band member Brian Holl describes the song as a love letter to himself, exploring themes of self-compassion and personal growth. The track reflects his journey towards becoming the best version of himself for his wife and family.

“What It Costs” promises to be an exploration of love in its many forms, while also presenting a fresh, band-led sound for Foreign Fields. Fans can stream “A Little Longer” on all major platforms now.
