The official trailer for the Luther Vandross Doc “LUTHER: NEVER TOO MUCH” by Dawn Porter has dropped in advance of its theatrical release which rolls out across North America starting November 1st. The doc will also see fresh eyes in 2025 as it premieres on CNN, OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, and Max next year.

We caught a screening of “Luther: Never Too Much” earlier this year at the Seattle International Film Festival and found ourselves dancing in our seats. This is what we had to say at the time:

Packed with archival concert footage and interviews with his collaborators and peers (Jamie Foxx, Dionne Warwick, Mariah Carey, Roberta Flack, to name a few) the film highlights the undeniable talent and celebrated career of Luther Vandross, showcasing his triumphs and the struggles along the way. We dare you to try and sit still and not dance in your seat during this one.
