Lumen Field Scores With New Food Offerings for the 2024/2025 Seahawks Season
As the Seattle Seahawks gear up for another season (this time with a new head coach), Lumen Field is also stepping up its game with a revamped food and beverage lineup. And, a Seahawks legend, Bam Bam Kam, is getting in on the action.
At a press preview, Kam Chancellor was on hand to showcase a new food offering this year – the “Bam Bam Smash Burger.” This isn’t Chancellor’s first foray into the food scene. As you may know, Chancellor, along with another Seahawks legend Richard Sherman and restaurateur Leilani Wong, opened up Legion Sports Bar on the Eastside a couple of years back. The burger features double angus beef patties, double white American cheese, and some tasty toppings, including Seattle jalapeno cream cheese spread and grilled onions.
We’re here to say that the Bam Bam Smash Burger hits – which is fitting when you consider the source.
Other notable Seahawks food additions include:
Bar Dojo: Serving modern Asian cuisine with a Northwest flair. The birria ramen with guajillo slow braised beef birria, consommé, fresh ramen noodles, cilantro, onions, radish, chili oil and lime was a definite standout.
District Market: Offering dishes inspired by the stadium’s adjacent Chinatown and International District neighborhoods. This section should be a big draw especially if you’re wanting to get your hands messy (or I guess you could use a fork) with Crispy Butter Chicken Wings or perhaps some Pork Belly Burnt Ends.
Home Taste Advantage Stands: If you want a good ol’ fashion hot dog, but with a twist, this is the place. Featuring signature eats with a chef’s twist and homemade ingredients, this humble hot dog is transformed into a Fletcher’s footlong hot dog topped with braised short rib, crispy onions and pickled shimeji mushrooms.
Smokehouse: A perfect stop post-tailgate activities. Serving up smoked meats, grab some Frito Pie Nachos on the way to your seat and settle in for kick-off.
Cushy New Digs
If you’re lucky enough to score Club Level seats, you’ll want to swing by the new T-Mobile Endzone. We had the opportunity to spend a couple of hours checking out the swanky new digs during the event – it was quite impressive, including a new 360 photo experience and cushy seats.
While you’re there, step up to the bar and order the Atomic Fizz. This Grey Goose Le Citron vodka cocktail (and a thirst-quenching lemon-lime margarita) were created in partnership with renowned bartender and cocktail expert, Tony Abou-Ganim who built the opening program for the Bellagio and the new Allegiant Stadium. We had the chance to meet Abou-Ganim who was in from Las Vegas and his personality is as delightful as his drinks.
Of course, gameday would not be the same without a slice. Ethan Stowell‘s Ballard Pizza Kitchen will be serving them up hot, and Tutta Bella will be working their Neapolitan magic as well. Stowell also has a dope salad and Tutta has a sick rigatoni.
And of course, the popular pregame values can still be had – just look for the “12s Combo” and you can score two hot dogs and pretzel bites for $12, among other deals.
These sick bites along with OGs like Manu Alfau’s (Manu’s Tacos), and Tarik Abdullah’s (Cooka T’s Kitchen) seriously sick and savory vegan delicacies (think mac-n-cheese and curries) should keep you more than sated. But that’s doesn’t mean you’ll want to miss grabbing a dog on a curb on the way in.
