Chef Jason Stratton Takes Over Mezzanotte Kitchen in Georgetown
As Seattle gears up to watch Seattle Chef Shota Nakajima compete in the new season of Top Chef, another Seattle Top Chef contestant is making news.
Chef Jason Stratton, who has his fair share of awards along with his appearance on Top Chef, will bring his notable pastas to Mezzanotte.
Mezzanotte comes roaring out of its winter hibernation next month with Stratton at the helm. As always, Stratton will be hands-on in the pasta production. He’ll be putting his signature on the likes of Tripoline with pork, veal and beef ragù.
Diners can also expect Tajarin with salsiccia di Bra sausage, sage and Parma butter and Spaghetti with duck and anchovy ragù.
Many diners were introduced to Stratton through his earlier ventures Spinasse and Artusi. With Mezzanotte, Stratton intends to to flex that Italian cooking muscle and build on the northern Italian menu.
“I am thrilled to get back to cooking Italian food with a focus on seasonality and local produce. It’s where I started my career and where my heart lies.”
