Brunch lines were out the door on an unusually blustery morning in Austin. Those in queue were waiting for BMI’s wrap on SXSW’s Music Week.  This was the first time BMI rolled out their artists on two stages this early in the morning.  

After a generous brunch and plenty of drinks to get the morning started, the attendees were treated to sets by Arcy Drive, Baby Rose, J Güero, Sunny War, Venbee, Your Grandparents, to name just a few.

The BMI Brunch was sponsored by Austin Music Movement, Bird Dog Whiskey, Liquid Death, Marfanista Tequila, ONErpm, Topo Chico, Texas Music Office and The MLC.

We were able to join in and can attest that this event was definitely a highlight from a very busy SXSW week. Hopefully 2024 brings a return to the BMI Brunch. Mark this one down as a can’t miss event.
