Black Lagoon: Halloween Pop-Up Returns to Rob Roy with Frightful Fun and Tasty Cocktails
A wickedly good time is right around the corner as Rob Roy once again plays host to the popular Black Lagoon pop-up this Halloween season. It may look spooky inside the cozy confines of this popular Belltown haunt, but there’s nothing frightful about the cocktails (except maybe the names).
“Siren’s Song,” “Nightmare Fuel,” and “Nosferatu’s Rise” are a few of the spooky libations you may encounter. Black Lagoon promises to help calm your jangled nerves with spirits coming from brands like Lot 40 Rye, Fords Gin, Mezcal Union, Giffard Liqueurs, The House of Lustau, Mr. Black Cold Brew Liqueur, and Bitter Queens Bitter. If the spirits (the firewater or the other-worldly) aren’t speaking to you, non-alcoholic options are also available, ensuring a haunting experience for all guests.
What started as a modest Halloween pop-up at Tales of the Cocktail in 2019 by bar industry vets Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage, Black Lagoon now haunts 35 bars across North America. Rob Roy will be putting out the welcome mat (for all those who dare to enter) starting October 2, while keeping the macabre atmosphere and spooky vibes going through the month.
Judging by the lines that form outside Rob Roy (as well as the “Book of Blood” cocktail we enjoyed last year), Black Lagoon is the place for the legions of fright night fans looking for unearthly delights.
