Belltown Mural Festival is Back August 4-10

Belltown is about to get another serious glow-up. The second annual Belltown Mural Festival lands August 4-10, transforming the neighborhood into an open-air gallery with murals popping up around every corner.
You’ll spot artists Valeria Ortiz, Victor Melendez, Robert Garcia, Dozer, Burl Norville, Tori Shao, Rodney King, Ben Hubbard, B Line Dot, They Drift, Sneke, Hews, Myth, Aerub, Alex Nason, Brady Black, Derek Wu, Morgan Zion, Andrew Morrison, Kas Larue, CC Stencil, Joe Nix, Sean Barton, and Devin Liston putting their stamp on the neighborhood – from abstract shapes to towering portraits. If you see lifts, scaffolding, paint buckets and spray, and a few people craning their necks upward, you’re in the right place.
But murals are only part of the story. Each day delivers something new. One night you’re catching a free outdoor movie at Portal Porch (August 6, 8-10pm), the next you’re checking out Slip Gallery’s IN-N-OUT Show (August 8, 5-9pm). There’s Belltown Night Out (August 5, 5-7pm) to kick things off, a Mini Paint Jam at 55 Bell (August 7, 5-9pm), and a final walking tour (August 10, 12pm) to see the finished works up close.
The festival’s big day? Saturday, August 9. Bell Street Park will host the Belltown Blast and Paint Jam from noon to 10pm – an all-day celebration with live painting by Peyboy, music by the likes of lil.lebowsxi, skate ramps, and more. Plus – plenty of chances to meet the artists behind the murals.
The Belltown Mural Festival is a slow build. So come out, watch an artist at work, pause for a pop-up event, or even create your own mural art.
The invitation is simple — show up, be present and see what unfolds.
