Belgian Fest is Back with Washington Breweries Best Tripels, Dubbels and More
Belgian Fest returns this Saturday showcasing the best in Belgian-style beer from Washington Breweries.
Who knew that shortly after Belgian Fest made their “last call” to attendees, that it would literally be the last call for two years?
Now that we are cautiously approaching the other side of the pandemic, Belgian Fest is back. As in 2020, Washington-based breweries (20 in all) will break out their best of Belgian-style beers at Seattle Center.
Returning beer lovers might notice a couple of slight changes from previous years.
This year, the fest will take place over one single tasting session. And, you may notice you have a a little more elbow room to hoist your beer, as the fest looks to keep capacity right around 75%. Both changes, of course, reflect the accommodations around safety and the latest Covid protocols.
What hasn’t changed is the quality of Belgian-style beers that Washington breweries will be showing off during the event. Tripels, Dubbels, Saisons, Wits, Abbeys, Lambics and Kettle Sours will all be on tap.
The single tasting session is this Saturday (February, 5) from noon – 6:00 p.m. at Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion.
Tickets are $40 online, or you can get them at the door for $45. But with reduced capacity, tickets at the door will be limited. So plan ahead.
Your ticket will get you a tasting glass and 10 tastes (each taste is 4 oz.). If you want to make a ‘must have’ Belgian beer list, you can find the full line-up here.
Belgian Fest is presented by the Washington Beer Commission and is a 21+ only event.
