84 Yesler Launches Happy Hour With Oysters, Fresh Pasta, and $10 Cocktails

Fans of Pioneer Square’s refined seafood and pasta spot 84 Yesler have a new reason to swing by after work. The restaurant, known for its seasonal Northwest menu and Italian influences, just rolled out its first-ever Happy Hour, making it easier to drop in for chef-driven bites without planning weeks in advance.
Since opening in February 2020, right before the pandemic rocked the industry, 84 Yesler has quietly become a destination for special occasions and polished date nights. Diners can go all-in with the tasting menu (four courses for $120, six for $160) or order from the regular menu, which features standout small and large plates alongside fresh pastas. Highlights range from smoked octopus to a roasted Delicata squash salad with toasted pistachio, black quinoa, and vadouvan yogurt. For heartier fare, there’s the American Wagyu ribeye. And for pasta fans, don’t sleep on the lobster tajarin, featuring toothy noodles glazed in lobster reduction with fresh tarragon, topped with a crispy lobster tuile.
But now, with Happy Hour running Wednesday through Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m., diners can sample the kitchen’s finesse in a more casual format. The new menu includes $3.50 oysters, Beef Tartare ($15), and Smoked Octopus with Asparagus and Hollandaise ($15), along with Burrata ($15) and Aleppo Pepper Churros with Smoked Tomato Aioli ($10) for a snack with a twist.

If you’re craving pasta, Happy Hour offers two standouts: Mushroom Cestini with Braised Lamb and Black Garlic ($18) and Pappardelle with Lemon Beurre Blanc, Crab, and Fresh Herbs ($25). It’s a great way to get a taste of the pasta program that has become a favorite among 84 Yesler diners.
On the drinks side, all wines by the glass are $4 off, and cocktails like the Classic Daiquiri, Mezcal Mule, and French 84 are all priced at $10. It’s an approachable lineup for anyone wanting to unwind with a drink before catching a game or gallery show nearby.
This launch comes as 84 Yesler celebrates its fifth anniversary. Executive Chef and General Manager Christina Siegl continues to guide the kitchen’s tight, ingredient-focused menu that showcases seafood and produce from around the region.
If you’ve never dined at 84 Yesler, Happy Hour is the ideal entry point—same dedication to flavor, plating, and hospitality, but with a more relaxed approach that welcomes walk-ins and last-minute plans. And for regulars, it’s one more excuse to drop in and soak up the restaurant’s intimate, cobblestone-side charm before dinner service kicks off.
