4 Years Strong: Buckshot Honey Celebrates with Pig Roast Hoedown
Buckshot Honey has been dishing up destination worthy BBQ in Snoqualmie for the past 4 years. To celebrate, owner David Storm (we’ve known him since back in the day and can guarantee he knows how to throw down) and his team will be firing up the pits on Saturday, July 27 for a pig roast hoedown. This marks the second year for Buckshot Honey to throw an all-out hoedown in celebration of the BBQ community in Snoqualmie and the fans up and down the I-90 corridor.
The festivities are slated to start at noon with live music kicking off around 1pm as Roemen and The Whereabouts step up to the mic and set the vibe with their “retro soul” jams.
And, you can’t have a pig roast hoedown without a little competition thrown in. Knife skills are essential when carving up a pig, but it also helps to have good quality tools at your reach. Step up and take part in the knife skills competition sponsored by Larson Made Handmade Cutlery and you may just walk away with a masterfully crafted local chef’s knife.
Of course, no hoedown is complete without a delicious pig roast. Buckshot Honey is partnering with Pure Country Klingeman Family Farm to provide the star of the show. This family farm prides itself on raising high-quality, free-range pork and beef.
The pig roast hoedown is scheduled to keep dishing it out until 7pm, but if the roast sells out before that – well, let’s just say you’ve been given fair warning.
Buckshot Honey is located at 38767 SE River St. in Snoqualmie.
