Elysian Brewing Enters a New “Phaze” With Latest Space Dust Series Release

In the ever-expanding universe of craft IPAs, Elysian Brewing continues to chart new territory with the latest addition to their Space Dust Series. The Seattle-based brewery has launched Phaze Dust Hazy Imperial IPA, marking another milestone as the original Space Dust IPA celebrates its 13th year of hop-forward dominance in the craft beer cosmos.
Phaze Dust enters orbit as a noteworthy evolution of the Space Dust legacy (which has become the fourth best-selling IPA in the U.S.), using the rare Oregon-grown Luminosa hop variety to create what Elysian describes as a “mischievously drinkable” Imperial Hazy IPA. Phaze Dust follows on the heels of last year’s successful Juice Dust Juicy IPA release.
The brewing scientists at Elysian have crafted Phaze Dust with a blend of Chinook, Amarillo, Citra Incognito, and Citra Cryo hops, alongside the distinctive Luminosa variety. This combination delivers the signature citrus character that Space Dust enthusiasts expect, while introducing sweet notes of candied peach, mango, and tangerine. True to its “hazy” designation, Phaze Dust offers a pillowy mouthfeel at a potent, yet very drinkable, 8.2% ABV.
Phaze Dust Hazy IPA is beginning its national rollout as part of the new Space Dust Series Variety Pack, which includes all three expressions in the cosmic collection. The variety pack will be available as a 12-pack of 12oz cans on the West Coast and in the Midwest starting this month, with 24-packs arriving at select warehouse club stores nationwide in late April.
Seattle locals can experience Phaze Dust on draft at Elysian’s hometown pubs—Elysian Fields and Capitol Hill—while regional distribution includes 19oz cans and 12oz six-packs at select retailers throughout Washington and Oregon.
