MOHAI and the Seattle Fire Department are bringing back their popular Fire Day event on Saturday, June 1st from 10 am to 1 pm. This free, family-friendly event commemorates the 135th anniversary of the Great Seattle Fire.

Sparking Curiosity and Fire Safety Skills

Fire Day offers a fun and educational way to learn about fire safety. Kids can meet firefighters in-person, explore hands-on exhibits, and take home fire safety activities. They can even climb aboard a real fire engine and ladder truck… always a favorite among kids.

Activities for the Whole Family

There will be a special firefighter story time, demonstrations, and opportunities to learn essential fire safety tips and techniques. Visitors can also explore artifacts that tell the story of the Great Seattle Fire.

Free Admission for Kids

The event offers free admission to MOHAI‘s Grand Atrium during the event hours. The admission for the upper galleries is $25 for adults while children 14 and under accompanied by an adult get in free. For additional information visit MOHAI.
