Photos: Coffee and Cocktails – A Perfect Pairing at the Fonté Bar at Rainier Square
Just in time for summer, Fonté has officially opened its flagship coffee bar at the new Rainier Square. With an expansive bar area and a generous outdoor patio, Fonté Bar should see plenty of activity during the day for those looking to get their caffeine fix. And, as evening approaches, so too does the trolley-bar service to mix cocktails up for you tableside.
The place buzzed during a recent press preview, as their signature F2 Espresso Martini took center stage. The martini was a coffee/chocolate bomb with Fonté’s F2 espresso, vodka, Amaro Foro and chocolate liqueur.
There were also plenty of savory bites passed around, which can be found on their full-service lunch and dinner menu. Do not miss out on the Grand Marnier Prawns – jumbo shrimp with Grand Marnier aioli with a citrus vinaigrette. The Lamb Tartare was also a winner, along with the Belgian Frites. Who doesn’t like a serving of double fried duck fat fries?
Whether it’s coffee and lunch during the day, or dinner and craft cocktails at night, Fonté Bar is definitely a welcomed addition to the downtown scene.
