A new day for Seattle musical festivals has arrived with the two-day fest, DAY IN DAY OUT.

For all of the live music fans who have missed the Capitol Hill Block Party and other fests highlighting some of the best acts around, a new day has arrived.

DAY IN DAY OUT, a two-day Seattle musical festival has just been announced by Daydream State – the same producers behind Capitol Hill Block Party.   

The fest will take place at Fisher Green Pavilion in Seattle Center over the weekend of September 4-5.  Not your typical multi-stage music fest that sprawls across a vast campus. DAY IN DAY OUT will feature one stage and include nine acts, including Grammy-winning beatmaster Kaytranada. Local DJs will also be featured between sets.

“For this new single-stage event, our goal was to curate complementary and diverse daily lineups that offer the city’s music lovers a two-day mixtape experience to close out the summer,” said Jason Lajeunesse, Daydream State Executive Director.

Seattle music festival goers will be able to check out the music from the expansive viewing lawn. Food trucks will keep the hordes of fans well fed throughout the two days. And, those who are thirsty (and 21+) can relax over a cold one in the indoor-outdoor beer garden.

And what festival wouldn’t be complete without an after party? Daydream State has teamed up with local venues The Vera Project, Barboza and Neumos for all of your after-party needs.

If you still haven’t got your COVID-19 vaccine yet, here’s yet one more incentive to do so. The Seattle Fire Department is partnering with DAY IN DAY OUT to provide 100 free one-day festival tickets for those getting the jab at one of these Welcome Back Week pop clinic sites.
